How much does a copier lease cost in New York?
Color copiers from $125 a month, black & white from $150 — with copies, service and toner included in one flat payment. Here's what's behind those numbers.
Most dealers in New York won't put a price on their website. We do, because the question "what will this cost me every month?" is the first one every office manager asks — and the answer isn't a secret. Below are ASR's published ranges for Kyocera copiers across Long Island, New York City, Westchester, New Jersey and Connecticut, what's included in them, and what moves a quote up or down.

What's included in the monthly payment
On an ASR lease, one payment covers the machine, a monthly allowance of copies, all service and parts, toner, delivery, installation, setup and training. There is no separate service contract and no toner bill. The preset plan on a color machine includes about 2,500 black & white and 750 color pages a month; a black & white machine's preset includes about 5,500 pages. Copies beyond the allowance are billed as overage — 1¢ per black & white page and 7¢ per color page — and the payment never increases during the term.
What moves the price
- Speed and class. A 25-page-a-minute desktop costs a fraction of a 70-page floor-standing machine. Most offices of 5–40 people land in the 35–50 ppm range.
- Color vs. black & white. A black & white machine of the same speed runs roughly $50–$150 a month less, and its allowance is all black & white pages.
- Volume. More included pages, higher payment — but a bigger allowance is almost always cheaper than paying overage every month. Tell us your real volume and the price follows it.
- Term. ASR leases run 36, 39, 48 or 63 months. Longer terms lower the monthly payment; 39 months is the most common choice.
- Add-ons. A staple finisher, booklet finisher, extra paper drawers, cabinet stand, high-capacity feeder or fax kit each add a measured amount — the configurator shows the delta live.
- Credit. Every lease is subject to credit approval. If a lease isn't approved, ASR offers a monthly rental instead — from $250 a month, usually a certified pre-owned machine.
Lease, rent or buy?
A lease is the lowest monthly cost for a new machine and includes everything. A rental (month to month or six months and up) suits projects, events and new offices that don't want a term — short rentals add copies at the per-page rates above. Buying outright makes sense for organizations that prefer to own; purchase pricing is quoted individually, and buyers who decline a service plan are still covered by ASR for the first year.

Common questions
It's the published starting point for a desktop color machine on a 63-month term with the preset allowance. Most offices choose a free-standing 35–50 ppm machine, where the range is $125–$325 a month depending on speed, volume and term. The Price Builder gives your range in two minutes; the written quote is exact.
No. Included-copy plans don't increase annually. The only variable is overage if you print beyond your allowance — 1¢ per black & white page, 7¢ per color page.
Overage is billed per page at the rates above. If it happens every month, we'll re-size the allowance — a bigger plan is usually cheaper than steady overage.
No. On a lease, delivery, installation, setup and training are included. Installs usually happen about a week after paperwork.
